LIGHTHOUSE Atascadero is dedicated to supporting and serving the needs of our youth by building a healthy, safe, and addiction free community through awareness, prevention, intervention, and education.

About
LIGHTHOUSE
Our programs provide education, mentoring, counseling, healthy activities, scholarships, and opportunities for our youth.
AWARENESS
We will educate the members of the community, young and old, that substance abuse is a problem for the individual addict, their family and friends, and the entire community.
PREVENTION
We are dedicated to assisting with providing and supporting activities within the schools and community that help prevent substance abuse among our young people.
INTERVENTION
We will help provide our Atascadero Unified School District students that are in recovery with an environment that will support their sobriety. We will sponsor their involvement in healthy activities, mentor them, and provide training and scholarships after their high school graduation.
EDUCATION
LIGHTHOUSE provides extensive community education regarding drug and substance abuse. A collection of on-line reading material is available.

Hayseed and Housdon
Fundraiser
Upon opening Hayseed and Housdon in 2019 the winery made a commitment to donate a significant portion of its profits to local nonprofit organizations. Each wine sold raises money for a specific nonprofit that supports individuals within the community that need a little extra assistance from time to time, including veterans, the unhoused, victims of intimate partner abuse, advocates for children in the foster care system, working families that do not qualify for government assistance in times of crisis due to their immigration status and also two organizations that focus on drug education and prevention.
Hayseed and Housdon is proud to support Lighthouse Atascadero via sales of the winery’s West Of Eden Cabernet Sauvignon.

Reality Tour
The Reality Tour® program brings Atascadero Unified School District parents, students, educators, local law enforcement and community volunteers to the table. Together, we create a powerful experience that can influence the conversations and choices of our teens for years to come. Reality Tour allows youth and families the opportunity to address peer pressure, substance abuse & mental health concerns unique to our community.
